The Messenger, 48” x 24”

This oil painting on canvas measures 48” x 24”. This painting started out with sketches done on site of the statue of the Peter Pan Statue in Bowring Park in St. John’s, NL. There are so many lovely creatures in bronze. I particularly was drawn to the fairies and this small squirrel. I imagined that this small squirrel was delivering a message to the fairies about all the goings on in the garden.

This painting would look great over your fireplace, sofa or bed. And perhaps you will hear whispers of secrets from the garden ;
